Hiring a professional cleaner can be uncomfortable and a bit confusing your first time around. We want to make it as easy as possible for you and leave you comfortable and knowing what to expect.
FAQ's about hiring a professional cleaner
1- How much do cleaning companies charge?
Answer- It is really important to get a few different quotes and meet them as well. You want to make sure they you are onboard with the quote and also with the people that are coming into your home. Chic Cleaning Services charges by the job. We get some information to give you the most accurate quote as possible. We do free in home quotes which give you the most accurate dollar amount, and estimates over the phone. Estimates done over the phone have more of a dollar range as we aren't there to see your home in person.
2- Do I need to be home when the cleaners arrive?
Answer- We are good with whatever our client perfers. We have no problem getting the job done either way. I would just make sure that if you won't be home the cleaners have a way to get into your home. This could be a door you have unlocked for them, garage code, key, etc.
3- Do I clean before the cleaners come?
Answer- No! That what we are here for. The only thing we strongly suggest is that you have things picked up and put away as much as possible. You are paying for us to come and clean your home in a certain amount of time. If we are spending time picking things up it may take away from some cleaning that you were wanting us to get done.
4- What cleaning products do you use?
Answer- All of our products are all natural toxic free chemicals. Our preferred brand is Melaleuca.
5-How long does it take to clean?
Answer- This varies depending on the size of house, how much work it entails, and how many people we can schedule on the job. When we do your quote we give our best guess on how long we may be there. The first time is always the longest as we are doing more of a deep clean.
6- What type of schedules do you offer?
Answer- We offer weekly, biweekly, monthly (every 4 weeks), one time cleans, new construction, and move in/outs.
7- Do you only clean residential homes?
Answer- Our main focuses are residential and small offices.
8- How do I pay you?
Answer- When the job is complete you will receive a invoice in your email that you can pay directly from there via card. It allows you to save a card for future payments, as well. Please don't leave money for the cleaners to pick up on site.
9- What time blocks do you offer?
Answer- We have a AM block (8:30-11:30) and a PM block (12-3). We try very hard to be done by 5pm as this is when families are trying to cook dinner etc.
10- Will I have the same people come in and clean each time?
Answer- We schedule at least 1 lead each clean that is familiar with that particular clients home. If for some reason we have to switch it up due to unforeseen circumstances the client is contacted before hand to ensure we are communicating about the situation.
11. Are you insured?
Answer- We are licensed, insured and bonded. This is a VERY important question to ask when hiring a cleaning company. It allows you to have total peace of mind when they are in your home. If cleaning companies don't have these things in place you might be out of luck on getting them to replace anything that may have been broken, or stolen.
12- I have had cleaners in the past and they always skipped things and I wasn't happy with their job. What makes you different?
Answer- this is a great question and ultimately it comes down to being fully transparent and having good communication with our clients and them with us about all expectations. We are here to make our clients happy. If something wasn't done to our clients expectations we have 100% satisfaction guarantee and will come back and fix the problem for free. Remember everyone is human and makes mistakes sometimes. It's how they deal with those mistakes that sets them apart from the rest.
